- copper based non-ferrous metals have excellent antimicrobial properties and have been used to as far back as 1700BC for its disinfectant powers

- anodising creates a hard durable surface known as corundum (the same material as ruby and sapphires) custom colours are available upon request. small variations in the dying process naturally occur.
