FLUTE
Flute is produced through a process of design thinking, traditional ceramic techniques and contemporary tools and methods. The bold, curved face and fluted sides of Flute harmonise to create its sculptural and tactile form.
Australian clay bodies are used with glaze finishes that have been developed specifically for our lighting collection. All glazes have been carefully tested and refined to ensure the natural beauty of Flute is illuminated from within. After an initial firing, fittings are hand finished with glazes and then fired one final time.

POTTER DS
Designed by Bruce Rowe, the ceramic Potter DS wall and pendant lights are the outcome of a creative and technical collaboration with Anchor’s long-term lighting partner, Rakumba Lighting and master potter, Michael Skewes.
Designed and made using a hybrid process of traditional ceramic techniques and contemporary digital tools, the Potter DS is simple and refined and focuses on the essential beauty of the material to direct and reflect light.
The external simplicity of Potter DS houses integrated aluminium and acrylic extrusions, and a highly resolved LED lighting solution to produce a unique linear pendant. After an initial firing, the fittings are hand-finished with glazes developed specifically for our lighting collection and then fired one final time. The clay body and glaze fit are developed together.

EARTH LIGHT
The Earth Light has been designed in wall, pendant and ceiling mount formats with an elemental geometric form that’s both simple and architectural. All fittings are hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel, which gives each individual light a unique quality and a surface rich with the evidence of the handmade process.
The wall and pendant fittings are available in two sizes with the wall light being available in both indoor and outdoor options. Everything from the Earth Light’s electrical componentry to its mounting system has been designed to complement the handmade nature of ceramics. After an initial firing, the fittings are hand-finished with glazes developed specifically for our lighting collection and then fired one final time. The clay body and glaze fit are developed together.
